How to Collect and Send Logs to KYP.ai Support
If you're experiencing installation issues with KYP.ai, our support team may need diagnostic logs to help identify and resolve the problem. This guide will walk you through the steps to collect and send your KYP.ai logs.
🗂️Step 1: Create a Logs Folder on Your Desktop
On your desktop, create a new folder.
Name the folder using the format Logs_[YourUsername].
Example: Logs_JohnSnow
📂Step 2: Copy Logs from the Public Directory
Navigate to the following location on your PC:
C:\Users\Public\KypCache
Locate the folder named logs.
Copy the logs folder.
Paste it into the folder you created on your desktop in Step 1.
📁Step 3: Copy Logs from the Roaming Directory
Navigate to:
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\KypClient
Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default.
To make it visible:
Open C:\Users\[YourUsername]
Click the View tab in the top ribbon
Check the Hidden items box
Locate the logs folder inside KypClient.
Copy the logs folder.
Paste it into the same desktop folder you created in Step 1.
🗜️Step 4: Compress the Folder
Right-click on the folder you created on your desktop (e.g., Logs_JohnSnow).
Select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
📧Step 5: Send the Zipped Folder to KYP.ai Support
Upload the zipped folder through the KYP.ai Support Portal:
