🧑‍💻 Creating Local Accounts in KYP (via Keycloak)

🔐 Note: You must have valid Keycloak admin credentials (username & password) to proceed.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Access the Keycloak Portal

Go to your KYP Keycloak page by appending /keycloak to your KYP domain:

📍 Example:

https://sup.kyp.ai/keycloak/

2️⃣ Log in to the Administrator Console

Enter your Keycloak admin username and password to access the console.

3️⃣ Switch to the Correct Realm

Once inside the Admin Console:

  • Click the realm dropdown (top-left corner)

  • Select KYP (instead of the default master realm)

4️⃣ Navigate to User Federation

In the left-hand menu:

  • Click on User Federation

5️⃣ Select the Custom Provider

You’ll see a list of federated user providers.

  • Click on KYP-user-custom-providers

6️⃣ Restart the Provider

To refresh the connection:

  • Toggle the switch to Disable ➡️ Enable

This will reset the federation link and allow local login attempts.

7️⃣ Test Login to KYP Platform

Now try logging in to the KYP platform using the local account credentials.
